A little bit of rain never hurt anybody. Ya right, we all know that’s not true, especially in KK. And as I’m typing this, there is a mild flood in Kota Kinabalu, which is getting worse as we speak.
Well, the weekend before last the Bristleheads went to KL to attend the Malaysian Ultimate Open. And I’m still tired.
We had the privilege of playing Ultimate this weekend past with Pasquale Anthony Leonardo, the author of Ultimate – The Greatest Sport Ever Invented by Man.
Today was the last Malaysia Ultimate Open team practice before the tournament next weekend. My knees are hurting and my legs are numb, but it that all the prep we can do for now?
Borneo Bristleheads is the name, and Ultimate is the game. Have tournament, will participate (might even win one. Ha. Ha).

Good service is hard to find in Kota Kinabalu, and as quick as I am to complain, as quick I am, or really try harder to be, to commend. And this weekend I encountered two instances of above and beyond that I simply must share.
Kota Kinabalu, as a city, turned 8 yesterday and celebrated with a massive Kota Kinabalu City Day Parade.
We went for breakfast at Foo Ping Dim Sum in Lintas, KK, on Sunday morning and although Dim Sum is not my first choice for breakfast, it’s not a bad choice.
